Buying Japanese TCG from Japan
A practical guide to ordering Japanese trading cards directly from Tokyo — no proxy needed. Pre-orders, shipping, import duties, payment and authenticity.
Why Japanese sets
Japanese sets usually release first — often months before their English counterparts — and some cards, promos and sets never leave Japan. Booster boxes are priced on the Japanese market, which often makes them more affordable, and collectors value their print quality and finish.

- Japan-only products. Magazine promos, event cards and Japan-exclusive boosters.
- Fair prices. Our prices follow the Japanese market, not the resale market abroad.
How an order travels
- Order & payCard, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Prices are in Japanese yen; your bank converts the amount.
- Prepared in TokyoWithin 1–3 business days (pre-orders: once released), with box protectors and padding.
- ShippedFlat rate within Japan; EMS by weight and zone abroad, with tracking.
- DeliveredImport duties and taxes, if any, are collected from you by your carrier or customs.
How pre-orders work
Pre-orders let you reserve a set before it is released in Japan. You pay in full at checkout and your order ships on or after the official release date. Dates are set by the manufacturer and may move; we email you if they do. Pre-orders can be cancelled up to 7 days before release.

Shipping & import duties
International orders travel by EMS (Japan Post Express Mail Service) with tracking. The rate depends on the parcel weight and your zone and is calculated at checkout. One parcel can weigh up to 10 kg.

Import duties and taxes are paid by the buyer. Depending on your country and the order value, customs may charge import VAT, duties and a handling fee on delivery. We declare the real value of every parcel and cannot mark orders as gifts. Check your local customs rules before ordering.

Payment
- Credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express.
- Apple Pay and Google Pay on supported devices.
- Konbini (convenience store) payment for customers in Japan — coming soon.
Payments are processed securely by WooPayments (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number. Prices are in Japanese yen (JPY), tax included.
Authenticity
We buy through Japanese distribution and retail, and sell sealed products exactly as released — never resealed, weighed or searched. Every order is checked before it leaves Tokyo.
Common questions
How long does EMS take?
Usually 3–7 business days to most destinations after dispatch, plus customs clearance. Times are estimates from Japan Post and are not guaranteed.
Will I have to pay customs fees?
Possibly. Import duties, taxes and handling fees depend on your country and are paid by the recipient on delivery.
Are the cards in Japanese?
Yes. Unless stated otherwise, every product is the Japanese edition, with Japanese text on packs and cards.
