Terms & conditions

These terms apply to every purchase made on nexuscards.jp (the "Shop"), operated by Nexus Corp., 1-11-20 Okura, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo 157-0074, Japan ("Nexus Cards", "we"). By placing an order you accept these terms. Please read them together with our shipping, pre-order, refunds & returns, fair purchase and privacy policies, which form part of them.

1. Products

• We sell trading cards, sealed trading card products, magazines with promotional cards, accessories and collectibles. Unless stated otherwise, products are the Japanese edition.
• We describe products as accurately as we can. Photos may show the product range rather than the exact unit. The condition of single cards is described honestly, but collectible condition is partly subjective.
• The contents of sealed products (booster packs, boxes) are random. We do not guarantee any particular card, rarity or pull rate.
• We are an independent retailer and are not affiliated with Bandai, The Pokémon Company, Konami or any other manufacturer. All trademarks belong to their owners.

2. Prices

Prices are in Japanese yen (JPY) and include Japanese consumption tax where applicable. Shipping is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. Prices may change at any time; the price that applies is the one shown when you place your order. If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

For deliveries outside Japan, import duties, taxes and customs fees are not included and are paid by the recipient.

3. Orders and contract

After you place an order, you receive an email acknowledging it. The contract is formed when payment is successfully authorised. We may refuse or cancel an order — and refund any amount paid in full — if the product is unavailable, payment cannot be confirmed, the address is incomplete or undeliverable, the order breaches our fair purchase policy, or we suspect fraud.

4. Payment

We accept credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payments are processed by WooPayments, powered by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card details. Payment is taken in full when you order, including for pre-orders. Your card issuer may charge currency conversion or foreign transaction fees.

5. Pre-orders

Pre-orders are paid in full at order and ship on or after the release date. Release dates and our allocation are set by third parties and may change; if we cannot supply an item, we refund it in full. Pre-orders can be cancelled up to 7 days before release. Full rules: pre-order policy.

6. Shipping and risk

Orders ship from Tokyo as described in our shipping policy. Delivery times are estimates. You are responsible for giving a correct and complete address. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, contact us and we will help with the carrier claim.

7. Returns and refunds

Because of their collectible nature, sealed products are final sale. A parcel that arrives genuinely damaged or the wrong item is handled only with an unboxing video reported on receipt. 8. Purchase limits and fair use

Some products are limited per customer. You may not use bots, scripts, multiple accounts or other means to bypass limits, and you may not use the Shop for fraud or unlawful activity. See our fair purchase policy.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit or loss of resale value, or for delays caused by carriers, customs or events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including under the Consumer Contract Act of Japan, or limits mandatory rights you have as a consumer.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published on this page when you place an order applies to that order. If these terms exist in several languages, the English version prevails, except where Japanese law requires otherwise.
